Fool's Garden - Lemon Tree

Fool's Garden - Lemon Tree to mój ulubiony utwór z lat szkolnych, jest moim ulubionym jeszcze dzisiaj. Zapomniałam go tylko na kilka lat, gdyż jedyne momenty kiedy mogłam go słuchać były wtedy, gdy nadawali go w radiu.

And when it gets you down
when you miss some solid ground
And everything is grey
You only have to be
Yourself and you will see
That you don´t feel the cold.

Ponieważ nie znałam nazwy zespołu, to nie mogłam też kupić kasety czy płyty. Od pewnego czasu zaczęłam go jednak słuchać z magnetofonu, gdy udało nagrać mi się go z radia.

I'm driving around in my car
I'm driving too fast
I'm driving too far
I'd like to change my point of view
I feel so lonely
I'm waiting for you
But nothing ever happens and I wonder

It's a rainy day, a rainy day
But i love it
It's a rainy day
The water comes down
But i love you.

LEMON TREE

I'm sitting here in the boring room

It's just another rainy Sunday afternoon
I'm wasting my time
I got nothing to do
I'm hanging around
I'm waiting for you
But nothing ever happens and I wonder

I'm driving around in my car
I'm driving too fast
I'm driving too far
I'd like to change my point of view
I feel so lonely
I'm waiting for you
But nothing ever happens and I wonder

I wonder how
I wonder why
Yesterday you told me 'bout the blue blue sky
And all that I can see is just a yellow lemon-tree
I'm turning my head up and down
I'm turning turning turning turning turning around
And all that I can see is just another lemon-tree

I'm sitting here
I miss the power
I'd like to go out taking a shower
But there's a heavy cloud inside my head
I feel so tired
Put myself into bed
Well, nothing ever happens and I wonder

Isolation is not good for me
Isolation I don't want to sit on the lemon-tree

I'm steppin' around in the desert of joy
Baby anyhow I'll get another toy
And everything will happen and you wonder

I wonder how
I wonder why
Yesterday you told me 'bout the blue blue sky
And all that I can see is just another lemon-tree
I'm turning my head up and down
I'm turning turning turning turning turning around
And all that I can see is just a yellow lemon-tree
And I wonder, wonder

I wonder how
I wonder why
Yesterday you told me 'bout the blue blue sky
And all that I can see, and all that I can see, and all that I can see
Is just a yellow lemon-tree

PROBABLY

Dan is drinking coffee
Mary's drinking tea
Betty's having breakfast
In the plastic surgery
Some say she's a beauty
Some may say she's mad
But she doesn't care what people say
And dyes her red hair black

You don't know what they will say
You probably've to do it
your own way
You don't know what they will see
Absolutely nothing! -probably...

Tom is vegetarian
A little fool they say
His father wants to change his mind
He's trying every day
Anne is loving women
Fred is loving men
And everybody shakes their head
Cause no one understands

You don't know...

In the corner plays a gypsy girl
With indians and with jews
Penny sings along with them
Though she wears different shoes

You don't know...

You don't know what they will do
No one ever knows, you don't know too
You don't know what they will say
You probably don't need another way
